The NCM has issued weather advisories as convective clouds bring a chance of rainfall, strong winds and blowing dust across parts of the UAE this evening.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast convective cloud formation and associated rainfall this evening across the country, following days of extended rain and hail in the eastern and southern parts of the UAE.
The authorities’ latest advisory lasts till 8pm today, and cautions strong gusts that could raise up dust, along with rainfall, in western and northern regions, such as Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman, as well as further east, in Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, and in internal areas like Al Ain.
During such conditions, the NCM advises motorists to drive carefully due to the possibility of a sudden drop in visibility. The authorities also caution watching out for loose materials from buildings or homes being dislodged due to strong winds, and to take precautions in general.
