On Union Pledge Day, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and High Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed the pledge to safeguard the Union, give a boost to its foundations, offer protection to its achievements, and construct a brighter long term for generations to return.
“On Union Pledge Day, we remember the day our Founding Fathers united around the vision of one nation and laid the foundations of our Union and its Constitution,” he wrote on his account at the X platform.
“The Covenant of the Union.. The day when the Founders agreed on the idea of the Union.. And the Constitution of the Union.. The day when we renew our pledges to the homeland by safeguarding this Union.. And we renew our resolve by consolidating this edifice.. And we renew our unity to protect our gains …and build the future of the generations of the Union,” he posted.
