Marvel Studios has released a fresh promotional teaser for Avengers: Doomsday, giving global audiences a closer look at Robert Downey Jr.’s debut as Victor von Doom alongside key appearances from the Fantastic Four and legacy MCU heroes. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the upcoming crossover blockbuster is set to unite the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men in a high-stakes multiversal confrontation.
The footage highlights the Fantastic Four—led by Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards and Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm—integrating directly with Earth’s mightiest heroes at Avengers Tower and in Talokan. Center stage, however, is Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, who delivers an ominous speech warning of impending incursions that will force the heroes into unthinkable decisions.
Adding a touch of humor amid the high-stakes narrative, the teaser leans into comedic confusion involving the Captain America title. Scott Lang (Ant-Man), played by Paul Rudd, is shown visibly perplexed over how to address the team’s leadership, given the simultaneous presence of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), who currently wields the shield. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for its international theatrical rollout on December 17 and December 18, 2026.
