The writer, the actress and the person who hosts a podcast will perform at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island on January 31 2027.
This event is organized by Live Nation Middle East with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral.
Cummings’ scheduled appearance reinforces Abu Dhabi’s strategic push to draw high-caliber international performing talent.
In an unusual double-header for the venue, her early evening show on January 31 will precede a late-night performance by popular British comedian Paul Smith on the very same stage.

The upcoming festival cycle features an eclectic array of top-tier global acts spanning several months. Performers set to anchor the season include musical comedian Morgan Jay on October 11, Canadian stand-up legend Russell Peters on October 25, Palestinian-American comic Mo Amer on November 6, and Iranian-American comedian Maz Jobrani on November 7, alongside Liverpool’s Paul Smith and Cummings.
Event organizers noted that additional international headliners will be integrated into the program schedule over the coming weeks.
Widely recognized as one of the most prolific creators in contemporary American comedy, Cummings made television history at age 29 by co-creating two major network sitcoms simultaneously—CBS’s 2 Broke Girls and NBC’s self-titled Whitney.
Her career spans six specialized stand-up releases, an executive producer role on ABC’s Roseanne revival, and hosting duties on her widely streamed audio project, Good For You.
Her appearance in the UAE capital forms part of her ongoing international Big Baby stand-up tour, which extends through 2027.
