The Dubai Fitness Challenge will be back for its 10th edition later this year. It will happen from October 31 to November 29 2026. This is a month- thing to help people get healthy. The whole city will be like a place to work out outside. They want people who live in Dubai and people who are just visiting to exercise for 30 minutes every day for 30 days in a row.
The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Sports Council are working together to make this happen. This time it will be the biggest and most fun for the community. The people, in charge said they have a lot of things planned for 2026.
There will be events where a lot of people can come together and also some new digital things to get more people involved. They want Dubai to be known as a place for people to get healthy and feel good. The Dubai Fitness Challenge is going to be really big this time.

The fitness drive was originally launched in 2017 under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
Built on the core principle that 30 days of consistent activity helps establish long-term healthy habits, the citywide campaign has mobilised more than 16 million participants across its previous nine editions.
The 2026 line-up features the return of the emirate’s most popular flagship sporting spectacles. Cyclists will take to the streets on November 1 for Dubai Ride, which temporarily converts Sheikh Zayed Road into a car-free track passing iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Opera, and the Museum of the Future.
Outdoor enthusiasts can head to the scenic waters of Hatta Dam on November 7 and 8 for the Dubai Stand Up Paddle event.
The challenge will culminate with the world-famous Dubai Run on November 22, a mass-participation run that historically draws over 200,000 participants onto the city’s central arterial highway.
Complementing these marquee events, dedicated Fitness Villages, local community Fitness Hubs, and thousands of free group exercise classes will operate across the city throughout the month.
Participation in the citywide movement remains completely free for the public, with official registration opening on September 28 through the initiative’s official online portal.
Individual participants, corporate teams, and educational institutions are encouraged to register early to set up group challenges, track daily exercise routines, and access complimentary masterclasses across the emirate.
