The United Arab Emirates has strongly said no to the drone attacks that hit Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities. These attacks are from Iraq and the UAE called the event a danger to security in the region. It also said it supports Saudi Arabia in keeping its country safe and protecting buildings and systems.
In a message from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the UAE said no to the attack in the way possible. The message said these kinds of actions hurt the peace in the area and go against the rules of the world. The ministry said the country does not accept any violence or terrorism. It asked for work to stop things from getting worse in the Gulf and the whole Middle East.
The attacks reportedly involved multiple drones aimed at strategic energy facilities in Saudi Arabia. Saudi authorities said their air defence systems intercepted many of the incoming drones, limiting damage to oil infrastructure. The incident has heightened concerns over the security of energy installations and the potential impact on regional stability and global energy markets.
The UAE reiterated its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasising that the security of the Kingdom is closely linked to the security and stability of the Gulf region. Officials reaffirmed the UAE’s support for measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its citizens, infrastructure and national interests against any threat.
The latest incident comes amid heightened regional tensions and follows a series of security developments involving Iran-backed armed groups operating in parts of Iraq and neighbouring countries. Governments across the region have renewed calls for restraint, warning that continued attacks on civilian infrastructure and energy facilities risk widening the conflict and disrupting international trade and oil supplies.
